Heading into the 2023 offseason, the Baltimore Ravens would be wise to retain as much talent as possible ahead of their next push toward Super Bowl glory next season. One of the most important pieces to their offensive success last year was 31-year-old tackle Morgan Moses, who told reporters in the team’s end-of-season press conference about what he felt he accomplished in 2022.

For Moses, the chance to play high-level football on a competitive team seems to have been a dream come true. He said that his first year in Baltimore was “amazing”, talking about the atmosphere around the team and said that he feels like he’s part of a locker room full of brothers and family members that he can call family for life.

“It’s been amazing, man. I just completed Year Nine and I haven’t won a lot of games in my career. So, being able to be a part of such a great atmosphere – a family atmosphere – a locker room full of brothers and family members that I can call family for life. You look up to a lot of these guys. Even as an older guy like me, you look up to guys like Calais [Campbell] and Justin Houston that come out every day and they show you how to craft your craft. And when you’re able to do that as a veteran guy, it’s easy to come back and keep on playing. I look forward to the younger guys coming back in better shape, stepping up, taking bigger roles. But also, our veteran guys leading us the way. So, I appreciate those guys [and] I appreciate everything that’s been done this season.”

Moses looks to be a key figure in the Ravens’ offensive rebuild next season, and should be able to bring the momentum he gained this season into Baltimore’s highly-anticipated 2023 campaign. With the help of the new crop of talent already under contract, the Ravens’ rookie class, and whomever the team is able to add in free agency, Moses should prove to be an integral part of Baltimore’s offensive attack.
