Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has reportedly still been negotiating with team despite trade request

The NFL world was hit with a bombshell on Monday morning, as Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson revealed on Twitter that he requested a trade from the team. He laid out how he will always be appreciative of Baltimore and the organization, but the team hasn’t been willing to reach what he believes his value is in negotiations.

After the request was made public by Jackson, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that while he notified the team of his trade desires a few weeks ago, he has still actively negotiated with the team. Nothing has been ruled out in the long and winding road that the Jackson situation has taken everyone on, and it’s unclear when a true resolution will be found.
