Ravens sign DL Broderick Washington to a three-year extension

The Baltimore Ravens have had a strategy over the years of trying to sign their own players to extensions before they hit free agency so that they can agree to deals that are fair to both sides. The team has used this to bring back underrated players over the years on contracts that help them in big ways.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Baltimore and defensive lineman Broderick Washington on a three-year extension. According to multiple outlets, the deal is worth up to $17.5 million, with $10 million in guaranteed money overall.
