Recapping Colts Day 3 of 2024 NFL Draft

After accumulating some additional draft capital on Day 2 of the NFL Draft by trading down in the second round, the Indianapolis Colts entered the day with five selections but would end up making six after they again moved back in the fifth round.

At this stage of the draft, positional need does take a back seat to a degree, but the Colts were still able to add to some positions where long-term depth was needed, specifically along the interior offensive line, in the secondary, and at linebacker.
