The former Broncos Super Bowl 50 MVP has a warrant out for his arrest in connection with a domestic violence case in Dallas

An arrest warrant has been issued for former Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller for alleged domestic violence, WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas, reported on Thursday. According to the report, Miller has been accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. A charge of assaulting a pregnant person is a third-degree felony in Texas.

The report states that police responded to a “major disturbance” Wednesday morning in the Dallas area and learned that Miller allegedly assaulted his longtime girlfriend. He left the scene before police arrived and the alleged victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Police said officers at 11 a.m. Wednesday responded to a “major disturbance” call in the 3100 block of North Harwood in the Uptown area of Dallas.

Officers learned that Miller and the alleged victim were in an argument when Miller allegedly assaulted her, police said. Multiple police sources told WFAA that the alleged victim is Miller’s longtime girlfriend.

Police said Miller left the scene before officers arrived. The alleged victim was not taken to a hospital but was treated for minor injuries at the scene, police said.

The Buffalo Bills, who Von Miller currently plays for, released a statement noting that they are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering information but will have no further comment on the matter at this point.

“This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.”

Miller was a longtime member of the Denver Broncos and their Super Bowl 50 MVP before spending time with the Rams and winning another Super Bowl. Miller is currently in year two of a six-year, $120 million-dollar contract with the Buffalo Bills.

We will continue to update this unfortunate developing story as more details emerge.
