Return of the enforcer: Bengals fans welcome Vonn Bell back to town

The Cincinnati Bengals have hit on the return of a fan favorite with the signing of free agent safety Vonn Bell.

A key part of the rebuild and success on the field, Bell left the Bengals last offseason for a multi-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, only for him to hit the open market again this offseason. Now, he’s back on a one-year pact.

In returning, the guy who clobbered JuJu Smith-Schuster after the Steelers wideout danced on the logo and so much more brings leadership, experience in the system and immediate production to a position that dramatically struggled last season.

So yes, fan and media response to the move was overwhelmingly positive.
