Justin Herron, 28, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 draft by the New England Patriots. Herron would be traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 before being waived by the Raiders in 2023. Herron has dealt with many injuries during his NFL career including a torn ACL in 2022.
Shane Lemieux, 26, was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round during the 2020 draft. Lemieux started nine games for the Giants as a rookie allowing 25 QB pressures and 5 sacks. Similarly to Herron, Lemieux struggled to stay on the field due to health reasons finishing the season on the Injured Reserve for the past three seasons.
New Orleans added two players to their offensive line in the 2024 NFL draft but continues to add depth. The additions of Herron and Lemieux should be good depth pieces as long as they could stay healthy.
