Tipton spent his collegiate career at Yale
The New Orleans Saints have signed UDFA WR Mason Tipton.

Tipton is from Akron, OH where he attended Archbishop Hoban High School. Tipton was a three-time state champion in football and earned first-team all-league as well as first-team all-region in his senior season. Tipton would spend five years at Yale playing four seasons of football (no season in 2020 due to COVID). In his career, Tipton finished third in school history in receiving touchdowns with 19, fifth in receptions with 132 and sixth in yards with 2,067. He was also a three-time All-Ivy selection.
At Tipton’s pro day, he measured at 5’10”, 179 lbs. and ran a blazing 4.33 40-yard dash.
