Saturday Night Open Thread: Bye, Boom and Boo!

Well, hopefully the boys are using their time wisely. Heal up, rest up, physically and mentally because this shhitake is about to get real.

1. Based on what you have seen to date and what you expect from the Steelers and the rest of the division do the Pittsburgh Steelers make the playoffs? What is your biggest factor as to why or why not?
2. We hoped for and have seen a big leg from our young rookie punter. Given that on September 21, 1969, Jets rookie punter Steve O’Neal booted the longest punt in NFL history—a 98-yard blast against the Broncos, I am pretty sure no one is beating that any time soon. However, what do you think Pressley’s longest kick of the year will be?
3. With the current crop of 2022 draft eligible college QBs looking really suspect, what chances to you give to the Steelers rolling with Ben Roethlisberger for one more season in 2022?
4. If you are a hard ‘NO’ to 3, do you draft, trade, or roll with Mason Rudolph or Dwayne Haskins? And no one word answers… tell us “Why”
5. With Halloween around the corner, tell us your plans for the big night. I am guessing that a specific couple of our regulars will actually be going out but what about the rest of you… Do you get dressed up to give out candy? Do you decorate the house? Are you turning the lights out and getting an early start on your scrooge career?
