Jaguars fans, who are you picking in tonight’s game between the Seahawks and Cowboys?

Thursday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET as the Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium. The ‘Boys are 9-point favorites, according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, and the total is set at 47.5 points.

The biggest thing I’m watching for tonight is the performance of Dak Prescott. The eighth-year quarterback is a true MVP candidate, and not just because his team has a shot at a No. 1 seed.

Everything changed after Dallas’ Week 7 bye.

Here’s how Prescott fared before the bye (ranks among 36 qualifying quarterbacks per PFF):

  • 173 total dropbacks (18th)
  • 8.1 average depth of target (17th)
  • 7.1 yards per attempt (12th)
  • 84.8 passer rating (21st)

And after the bye:

  • 128 total dropbacks (5th)
  • 10.4 average depth of target (3rd)
  • 9.8 yards per attempt (2nd)
  • 129.4 passer rating (2nd)

Throughout his whole career, Prescott has been one of the best quarterbacks to watch from a process and timing perspective. It’s nice to see his statistical production is finally matching his natural ability, now that Dallas’ offensive line is healthier and Ceedee Lamb is getting outside reps.

Here are our staff’s picks for tonight’s game.

This is now an open thread for the game. Let us know your TNF thoughts in the comments below!
