Seahawks release defensive back LaDarius Wiley

So that creates an opening on the 90-man roster.</p>— Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) <a href="https://twitter.com/bcondotta/status/1403484155267096581?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 11, 2021</a> </blockquote> </div> <p id="VRpNxM">LaDarius Wiley was undrafted coming out of Vanderbilt in 2019 and had previously spent time with the <a href="https://www.musiccitymiracles.com/">Tennessee Titans</a> before signing with the Seahawks in mid May. Wiley was one of four non-rookie rookies the Hawks added in the weeks after the draft, but it appears as though the team had seen enough to know it was unlikely he would make an impact. </p> <p id="VxkYtH">Wiley had his work cut out for him to make the roster at safety, with the starters, Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, well entrenched, and both Ryan Neal and Marquise Blair having flashed at times. Obviously there is a lot of time until training camp, and anything could happen, but it would likely take a significant development for those four to be unseated from the spots they hold on the depth chart. </p></div>
