Social media reacts to the Jaguars trading for Patriots QB Mac Jones

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot of priorities this offseason, but quarterback didn’t look it’d be one of them.

So it came as a shock when news broke Sunday morning that the Jaguars agreed to a trade with the New England Patriots to acquire former first-round pick Mac Jones. While it only cost Jacksonville a sixth-round pick to make the deal, it was still a move that left a lot of people scratching their heads.

After all, the Jaguars seemed content with C.J. Beathard as their backup quarterback for the 2023 season and he got the job done when he was called into action.
