Steelers 3.5-point home favorites over Packers

It is a rare occasion this season for the Pittsburgh Steelers to be favored, even in the friendly confines of Acrisure Stadium. But this week, against the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh is up to 3.5-point favorites according to BetMGM.

The Steelers are coming off a narrow Thursday night win over the Tennessee Titans. This gave the Steelers a few extra days to prepare for the Packers. Meanwhile, the 3-5 Packers are coming off of an impressive 20-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

The Steelers and Packers are very similar teams. Both teams want to lean heavily on the run game as well as very active, physical defenses. Both teams are also similar in that they have more questions than answers when it comes to the quarterback position. Both Kenny Pickett and Jordan Love are in their first full seasons as starters and neither guy is living up to expectations.
