Steelers open as 2.5-point underdogs in Week 15

After dropping a home showdown against the Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers must now regroup minus their starting quarterback and take on the red-hot Carolina Panthers on the road.

Tipico Sportsbook opened up this week’s like between the Steelers and Panthers with Pittsburgh as 2.5-point underdogs. Considering Pittsburgh is coming off of a big loss and the Panthers are coming off of a huge upset win over the Seattle Seahawks on the road, 2.5 points feels generous.

Both teams come into the game at 5-8 and have been completely hot and cold all season. Pittsburgh is staring up at a long offseason from the bottom of the AFC North. But for the Panthers, things are different. Despite their record, they are still in contention for the NFC South and this gives them far more to play for.
