Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger not shocked by Maxx Crosby: ‘He’s from the MAC’

In case you don’t remember, before quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was the leader of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was making a splash in the MAC leading the Miami (OH) Redhawks. You could tell when Roethlisberger was gushing his MAC pride when he spoke to the media this week and the topic of Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

You see, Crosby played his college ball at Eastern Michigan, another prominent MAC program. So when Roethlisberger said he wasn’t surprised how good Crosby is, it’s that conference loyalty coming through. Roethlisberger went so far as to call Crosby a stud after his two-sack performance last week against the Baltimore Ravens.

All jokes aside, stopping Crosby is the top priority of the Steelers offensive line this week and it is going to be a tall order.
