Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster on hand at Thursday practice

Just a day after season-ending shoulder surgery, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was back at practice. Despite being done for the year, Smith-Schuster still showed up to practice on Thursday to support his teammates.

It would be easy to be a player headed to IR to just shut it down for the year and focus on recovery. But for Smith-Schuster it’s obvious being a part of this team is more important than anything else. With the Steelers turning to some young receivers to fill his shoes, Smith-Schuster’s presence will be welcome.

Smith-Schuster suffered his shoulder injury in last week’s win over the Denver Broncos.
