Ranking the Titans’ 11 best players on defense ahead of 2021

When the Tennessee Titans take the field against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 at Nissan Stadium on Sept. 12, the defense is going to look quite different than it did a year ago.

General manager Jon Robinson spent this offseason overhauling what was one of the worst units in the NFL last season. He made several changes to the secondary, and added some significant help in the pass-rush department.

On paper, the Titans look to have more than enough talent on defense to get by, especially given the state of their offense that now includes Julio Jones. However, there are certainly question marks throughout, and the level of improvement from this unit could determine how far Tennessee goes.

As we continue to wait for those questions to be answered, we thought we’d take a look at the team’s 11 best defenders ahead of the 2021 campaign and rank them against one another.
