The Tennessee Titans were without two of their starters along the offensive line in Week 2, as left guard Rodger Saffold left the game early, and left tackle Taylor Lewan was unable to suit up.

Saffold is dealing with a shoulder injury that limited him to 34 snaps, while Lewan tweaked his knee in pregame warm-ups that ultimately rendered him inactive.

When asked about the left side of the line on Monday, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said the team wouldn’t know more until later in the week, according to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.

“Rodger didn’t finish and obviously Taylor wasn’t available,” Vrabel said. “We’ll know more as we work our way through the week and we’ll see if we get both those guys back.”

Aaron Brewer and Ty Sambrailo filled in admirably for Saffold and Lewan, respectively, and both are expected to assume those roles once again if either player is unable to suit up against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

The Titans will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, so that’s when we can expect to receive any semblance of an update. For now, their statuses for Week 3 remain very much up in the air.
