The Tennessee Titans’ Week 2 contest against the Seattle Seahawks scored the highest television rating in Nashville of any September game in the past 10 years.

According to WTVF-5 senior programming director Mark Binda, via Ben Arthur of The Tennessean, the game scored a rating of 29.4, which amounts to over 324,000 households tuning in.

That mark was the highest a September Titans game has received since Sept. 18, 2011 when the Tennessee-Baltimore Ravens game garnered a 30.6.

Those who tuned in were rewarded, as the Titans mounted an incredible comeback despite trailing by 14 points in the fourth quarter, ultimately securing the victory in overtime thanks to a Randy Bullock field goal.

Tennessee has now posted back-to-back big ratings. The Week 1 contest against the Arizona Cardinals notched a rating of 25.2, the highest for a season-opener in six years.

The Titans will look to grab their second win of the season when they take on the Indianapolis Colts at Nissan Stadium in Week 3.
