Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan showed his latest sign of progress on Monday during the team’s 10th training camp practice, but he wasn’t happy with his performance overall.

Lewan took some team reps for the first time in training camp, and while he did draw an overall positive review from Ben Arthur of the Tennessean, the left tackle did allow a sack to outside linebacker Derick Roberson.

“Lewan participated in 11-on-11s for the first time Monday,” Arthur wrote. “He played several reps. On one Ryan Tannehill drop back in the first time period, Lewan gave up a “sack” to linebacker Derick Roberson, who beat him with a speed move. For the most part, though, Lewan was solid…”

ESPN’s Turron Davenport noted that Lewan went “full tilt” and did not stop on contact during the period.

After practice, Lewan didn’t have such a positive review of himself.

“I was a pylon out there,” Lewan told NFL Network, via Joe Rexrode of The Athletic. “Absolute trash.”

Earlier in training camp, Lewan revealed that he will be ready for Week 1, and the latest step in his progression shows he’s on track to do just that. Despite his negative review, Lewan will be just fine.
