The Houston Texans placed cornerback Derek Stingley on injured reserve Saturday.

The former 2022 No. 3 overall pick sustained a hamstring injury in practice Sept. 21 that necessitated such a placement.

Houston made other moves to the active roster ahead of their Week 3 tilt with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Texans signed safety DeAndre Houston-Carter from the practice squad to the active roster.

Houston designated tackle Austin Deculus and defensive tackle Khalil Davis as their two standard elevations from the practice squad to the game day roster. Deculus has one more standard elevation remaining.

Kickoff at TIAA Bank Field is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Central Time Sunday.
