It’s a three for one special on this turkey day!

Good evening, this is a recording. The Patrick you would normally see writing these words is currently wondering what cryptic nonsense his grandmother’s pecan pie recipe is meant to allude? He is also juggling cooking times like a circus clown does clubs, making stuffing from scratch, and entertaining his entire extended family on his own away thousands of miles from home.

If he returns from this without experiencing a nervous breakdown, then nothing the Houston Texans can do to him will break him.

In the meantime, here’s three other games of non-Texans football for your entertainment pleasure today.

First off, it’s the traditional Detroit Lions game against the Green Bay Packers. Although in a flip-flop of plot, the Lions are actually the better team for once. I know many of us are unfamiliar with this experience, with most everyone having felt it before having died of old age.

Then it’s the “nudge grandpa off the remote” game where the Washington Commanders, the most sterile name in the league (and this is coming from a Texans fan), go to our little brothers up north to take on the Dallas(?) Cowboys.

Then, in the game du jour, the one grandpa wanted you to wake him up for, it’s a battle for NFC West supremacy between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. The Niners should be heavy favorites but Seattle is different at home.

And here are my picks for today’s game as well as tomorrow’s Black Friday game, brought to you by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Enjoy the games, y’all.

Go Texans!
