The Repack: The Packers are in the playoffs!

Do you believe in Green Bay making a postseason run? We try to answer that question and more in this week’s The Repack.

Folks, they did it. After starting the season with a 2-5 record, the Green Bay Packers did the improbable and managed to rally to a 7-3 record down the stretch and made the playoffs.

Now what?

Acme Packing Company’s own Evan “Tex” Western and Justis Mosqueda take you through the Packers’ recent win against the Chicago Bears, the team’s upcoming playoff matchup against the Dallas Cowboys and try to answer what’s happening with defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s job status in this week’s edition of The Repack.

NFC North fans are spiraling after quarterback Jordan Love’s late-season performance. Honestly, it’s hard to blame them. Love looks like The Next Guy, which should scare the hell out of any divisional opponent. Who are Love’s top pass-catching targets as it stands today, though?

After hitting on all these subjects, Western and Mosqueda play a game of “Do you believe?” Sure, this passing offense is explosive, but can the Packers’ defense hold up long enough for the team to go on a playoff run? This team probably could go toe-to-toe with the 2016 Packers, a squad that made it to the NFC Championship Game before they were pummeled by the Atlanta Falcons.

As always, the second half of the show is dedicated to our offensive, defensive and special teams vibe checks, where our two hosts grade each unit’s performance on a scale of 1 to 10.
