Green Bay needed its best showing of the season to defeat the Lions. Unfortunately for Thanksgivings all around Detroit, the Packers provided just that.

The Green Bay Packers’ win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving opened the door up for a potential playoff bid, if you can believe it. With the NFC having such a poor year, there’s a real chance that the Packers’ Week 12 result will prove to be a pivot point for the season.

In this week’s The Repack, Acme Packing Company’s Evan “Tex” Western and Justis Mosqueda take a look at the postseason outlook in Green Bay — including must-win games and teams that must take a step back for the Packers to jump them. After the playoff take, our duo gets into a breakdown of what happened on the field back on Thursday.

Despite playing on a short week down eight preferred starters, the Packers played their most complete game of the season (at least since Week 1) versus the Lions. Quarterback Jordan Love looked like The Guy and the offensive line was able to hold up against a strong Detroit front. The question now is if they can continue that success and if the rotations at left tackle and right guard will ever come to an end.
