Is New York Jets RB Breece Hall capable of becoming a true superstar playmaker?

Breece Hall looked like a budding star to begin his career with the New York Jets. Through six-and-a-half games, he was not only carrying the Jets’ offense, but he was the front-runner for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

An ACL tear in Denver ended Hall’s season prematurely, allowing his teammate Garrett Wilson to take OROY honors. Still, seven games were all we needed to see that Hall has the necessary traits to become a superstar running back.

But what exactly are those traits?

Hall’s raw athletic tools are apparent to any Jets fan who watched him in 2022. He’s got a blend of size, power, and speed that few running backs can match. However, what really put Hall over the top was his excellence in some of the more subtle areas of the position, such as his footwork and pacing.
