Before the Tennessee Titans ultimately decided to draft cornerback Caleb Farley with their first-round pick in 2021, there was plenty of speculation that the team could draft Ole Miss wideout, Elijah Moore.

At the time, the Titans needed help at wide receiver, and Moore’s connection with wide receiver A.J. Brown — the two are friends and played together in college — only added fuel to the speculation.

However, the Titans went with Farley instead at No. 22 overall, and Moore was already off the board to the New York Jets before Tennessee’s second-round pick came up.

Despite Moore not landing with the Titans, his relationship with Brown appears to be as strong as ever. Brown recently posted a video to Instagram that shows he and Moore working out together at a Brooklyn playground, accompanied by fans (H/T @TitansDraftTape for the vid once again).

We got a good idea of just how close Moore and Brown were on the night the former was drafted by the Jets. In a video that was originally posted to social media, the Titans wideout got emotional upon learning Moore was drafted, and he even went as far as to say that Moore was better than him.

Interestingly enough, the two former college teammates and friends will meet during the 2021 campaign, as Moore’s Jets will host Brown’s Titans in Week 4.
