After notching an impressive comeback win over the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Week 2, the Tennessee Titans, who were heavy underdogs in that contest, are getting much more respect this week.

Ahead of their Week 3 tilt against the winless Indianapolis Colts, the Titans are 5.5-point favorites at home, per Tipico Sportsbook. The over/under isn’t particularly high, coming in at 48.5.

The big question going into this game is the status of Colts quarterback Carson Wentz, who suffered a pair of sprained ankles during Indianapolis’ hard-fought, 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

As of right now, the Colts are unsure if Wentz will be available to play, but if not he will be replaced by 2020 fourth-round pick Jacob Eason, who struggled in limited work on Sunday.

Eason attempted just five passes, completing two of them for 25 yards. He also threw a crucial interception with just over two minutes remaining that effectively put the Colts away for good.

There’s no question that Eason would be a downgrade for the Colts, and in turn a huge boost for the Titans, especially after their defense showed signs of improvement against the Seahawks outside of three big plays.

Keep an eye on Wentz’s status as the week progresses. If he gets ruled out during the week, this line could go up. Regardless of if he plays or not, we like the Titans to win this game.
