Jordan Love got his first meaningful NFL experience on Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers may have lost on Sunday, but perspective is important.

Not only are the Packers 7-2, they have more wins than the rest of the NFC North combined through the first nine weeks of the season. They currently hold the No. 2 seed in the NFC if the playoffs started right now, and they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Arizona Cardinals, the only one-loss team remaining in the NFC.

So things could be a whole lot worse right now. Just imagine being a Chicago Bears fan after a gut-wrenching loss last night to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Minnesota Vikings fans don’t have it much easier either after coughing up a big lead to the Baltimore Ravens.

There’s still plenty of season left, and the Packers will be getting their starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers back sooner than later. As long as they can weather the storm that has been a crazy past week or so, then they should have no problem making a run once the playoffs come around.

It wasn’t just vital experience for Love in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. Head coach Matt LaFleur even admitted that the experience was great for the coaching staff, learning how to manage a game without the luxury of Aaron Rodgers under center.

State Farm stands by Aaron Rodgers after his vaccine comments | USA Today

It has been a chaotic week for the future Hall of Fame quarterback after testing positive for COVID-19 and news coming out that he was unvaccinated. However, it seems that long-time sponsor State Farm will be sticking with the Packers QB, although it’s worth nothing that ads with Rodgers appeared significantly less frequently during this past week of football.

Packers believe DL Kenny Clark avoided long-term back injury | Packers Wire

The Packers avoided some major injury scares on Sunday. Rookie cornerback Eric Stokes went down during warmups with a knee injury, while Kenny Clark left the game with a back problem and did not return. The good news is that neither injury is deemed to be a long-term issue, something that the Packers couldn’t afford right now.

Mr. Unlimited will be available to play in Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field. He announced his return with a very…interesting Twitter video that made it seem like he was returning from a devastating knee injury. Regardless, Wilson will be available to play on Sunday at a stadium he’s failed to win in.

Tony Corrente leaned into Cassius Marsh before throwing controversial taunting flag | Pro Football Talk

The Bears still suck, but no one deserves a fate like this. The NFL is going to need to do something about Tony Corrente’s actions. It’s one thing to make a bad call on a tough play, but to make contact with a player and then penalize him for it is completely inexcusable.
