The Atlanta Falcons have signed free-agent cornerback Kevin King, the team announced on Monday afternoon. The 28-year-old veteran was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round (pick No. 33) of the 2017 NFL draft.

King has appeared in 42 games with 51 starts over his five seasons in the league. His best year came in 2019 when he started 14 games and recorded five interceptions. For his career, King has seven interceptions and 30 passes defended.

After adding cornerback Antonio Johnson last week, King gives the Falcons another veteran with starting experience to help replace Jeff Okudah.

The former Washington Huskies defensive back has been out of the league for the last two seasons but now reunites with two of his former coaches in Atlanta.
