Falcons rookie QB Michael Penix to wear college uniform number

After weeks of anticipation, the Falcons finally released their rookie jersey numbers on Thursday afternoon. First-round pick Michael Penix will wear the No. 9, the same number he wore in college at Washington. Atlanta’s second-round pick, defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro, will wear the No. 98, and third-rounder Bralen Trice is set to wear No. 48.
