Rookie mini-camp to be held Friday and Saturday

With rookie mini-camp practices being held on Friday and Saturday, it figures that some if not all of the New York Giants’ six 2024 draft picks will sign their rookie contracts in the next day or two.

That process began on Thursday when fifth-round pick Tyrone Tracy Jr., a running back, signed his rookie deal.

Tracy played wide receiver at Iowa for four seasons before transferring to Purdue and transitioning to running back.

NFL rookie contracts are slotted. Tracy’s four-year deal will be worth $4.306 million, an average annual value of $1.076 million. Tracy’s signing bonus is $286,352.

The rest of the Giants’ draft class includes first-round pick Malik Nabers, second-round pick Tyler Nubin, third-round pick Andru Phillips, fourth-round pick Theo Johnson and sixth-round pick Darius Muasau.

The Giants will conduct practices for their rookie draft picks, undrafted free agents and tryout players Friday and Saturday afternoon.
