Well. . .duh.

For many years now, from Metropolitan Stadium to the Metrodome and now to U.S. Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Vikings have had what has been considered one of the best home-field advantages in the National Football League. Whether it has been because of the element or the noise, being in the Twin Cities has always been a huge boost for the purple.

Now, as we get closer to the start of the Vikings’ sixth season at U.S. Bank Stadium, the folks from Touchdown Wire have named it the best home field in the National Football League. Here’s what they had to say about it:

The Minnesota Vikings managed to get a venue that mimics having a retractable roof without actually opening it up and exposing the fans and players to the inhospitable Minneapolis weather. The stadium also provides iconic scenes of downtown. The exterior is a bit asymmetrical, but it is nevertheless one of the more visually appealing venues in all of sports.

Obviously, the stadium has gotten rave reviews since its completion from Vikings fans, and hopefully with the stadium set to be at full capacity this season after having nobody in attendance last year, the Vikings can improve on the dismal 3-5 mark they put together at home in 2020.

As far as the rest of the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers come in at #3 because. . .well, hell, I have no idea, to be honest. The Chicago Bears are significantly higher on the list than I thought they’d be, checking in at #12, while the Detroit Lions are down at #20 on the list.

But, what’s important is who makes the list at #1, and in this case it’s U.S. Bank Stadium, the home of your Minnesota Vikings. What do you think of that, ladies and gentlemen?
