Hump daaaaayyyyyyy!

Merry hump day, everyone!

Alright, not a whole lot of news out there, but there is a thing or two to chat about.

First, in the most recent episode of The Red Headed Step Children of Green Bay, A-a-ron brings more drama with a fairly harmless answer to the press, which at this time of year, is guaranteed to be overblown, so we’ll go along. I’ll provide a link to the story below.

Another story that seems to be gaining traction is that K’Neal Harris’ agent has requested that the Patriots trade the wide receiver. Acquiring the 2019 first round pick (32nd overall) could be a consideration by the Vikings. Harris wants to see more targets, and with Adam Thielen starting to age, he would likely have a chance to get them in Minnesota.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

From Chris, no NFL players have chosen to opt out of the 2021 season due to Covid. Gee, I wonder if the “unpaid” part of opting out played into their decisions this year.

Danielle Hunter made ESPN’s list of the NFL’s top edge defenders, from Chris.

For your listening pleasure, Arif brings you Norse Code Podcast Episode 376: Manufactured News.

Other Vikings/NFL news and random oddities and annoyances:

K’Neal Harris’ agent has formally requested that the Patriots trade his client, per ESPN.

From NFL.com, A-a-ron Rodgers replied “we’ll see” when asked if he’ll be playing for Green Bay in 2021. I told you it was a fairly harmless answer, but feel free to blow it out of proportion, I plan to.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Welcome aboard! Belly up & tie one one, don’t forget to tip the cows, and try the head cheese.
