2024 NFL mock draft: Massive QB run lets Bengals steal top weapon for Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals are lucky to approach the 2024 NFL draft with the biggest problem plaguing most of the league’s rosters already solved.

Go ahead and thank him some more, too, because the Bengals already sitting with a franchise quarterback for the long-term means that the leaguewide desperation to find one should push premium non-quarterback prospects down the board to them at No. 18.

Were the league not so desperate for signal-callers — which will push some controversial names into the first round again this year — the Bengals would otherwise need to trade up.

In the first-round mock below, though, the Bengals happily sit at their usual spot and land a target they probably shouldn’t be able to thanks to a run on quarterbacks.
