3 impending free agent Jaguars in talks to come back, per Trent Baalke

The Jacksonville Jaguars will likely allow the majority of their impending free agents to hit the market next month. But during a Tuesday press conference at the 2024 NFL Combine, general manager Trent Baalke singled out three players he’s actively working to bring back.

Pass rusher Josh Allen, wide receiver Calvin Ridley, and offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland are all in ongoing negotiations with the Jaguars on new contracts that would keep them with the team.

None of the names are too surprising. Baalke has previously guaranteed that Allen will be back with the Jaguars in 2024 and he hasn’t made his affinity for Ridley a secret. The addition of Cleveland is most noteworthy, although that’s not much of a shock either considering he was acquired in a midseason trade.
