The Chicago Bears control the draft for the second straight year. They have the No. 1 overall pick thanks to a brilliant trade made by Ryan Poles last offseason, where they acquired the top selection (among other assets) from the Carolina Panthers.
Last season, the Bears finished 7-10, which marked big-time improvement from the 2022 season (3-14), and it still earned them a top-10 pick. With Chicago selecting ninth overall, they know they will be getting a very good player there — be it a receiver, edge rusher of offensive tackle.
Everybody is projecting what is going to happen with the draft. NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks revealed his latest mock draft, where the Bears managed to land a dynamic quarterback-wide receiver duo with their pair of top-10 selections. If this mock became reality, that would be great news for Chicago.
