For the first time in two years, the Chicago Bears will play a preseason game this weekend and fans are eager with anticipation. No, really.

Though preseason games usually elicit boring reactions, there’s a buzz in the air for (No.) 1 big reason. Even outside of rookie quarterback Justin Fields’ debut, there are plenty of other young or reserve players that are worth monitoring when the Bears kick off against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday.

Some players might be energizing rookies, ready for their first taste of an actual NFL game. Others are vested veterans, looking to make another roster to prolong their career.
