Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw out a comment about taunting that most fans will probably appreciate.

During his anticipated appearance on the “New Heights” podcast at the University of Cincinnati with Travis and Jason Kelce, Burrow was pretty blunt in his reaction to a question about how the league handles taunting right now.

Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com captured the biggest piece: “We’re grown adults. Nobody is going to get their feelings hurt. Fine us, but don’t give us 15 yards. You should show your emotions.”

Burrow did point out that he’s usually nice to the defensive line attempting to take him down (for obvious reasons) and that this tends to quiet down some of the on-field trash talk.

But on the point of taunting, especially when it’s down to officials to judge intent and what is actually a taunt, most fans would probably agree with Burrow’s assessment.
