The Cincinnati Bengals are predictably underdogs for their road contest with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

Both the Bengals and Steelers enter the contest at 1-1 after losses last week. But the location of the AFC North showdown, plus a little extra, is enough to have the Bengals positioned as 3.5-point underdogs at Tipico Sportsbook.

Pittsburgh had the look of a contender in Week 1 by taking care of business on the road against a superb Buffalo Bills team. But that vibe lost some momentum as the team turned around at home and lost to the Las Vegas Raiders the following week.

As for the Bengals, a thrilling Week 1 overtime win over Minnnoesta seemed to signal the turnaround was only just beginning. That idea also lost some momentum when a poor game plan and turnovers ruined the team’s chances at picking up a win in Chicago.

Still, the Bengals have to be considered one of the more attractive underdogs picks of the week. A Ryan Finley-led Bengals team beat the Steelers last year and they’re clearly much better than last season and could easily be 2-0 (or 0-2, to be fair). Big Ben is apparently dealing with an injury that could impact how effective he might be.

In fact, it wouldn’t be too stunning to see more line movement as the week continues.
