One of the Buffalo Bills’ battles where a starting position is up for grabs is at guard, where three qualified NFL-caliber guards are fighting for two spots. So how is it shaking out with Ike Boettger, Jon Feliciano, and Cody Ford?

Once again, Ford finds himself changing positions, as he is listed at right guard on the team’s newly released depth chart. He started the first half of the season at left guard in 2020 before suffering a leg injury.

Feliciano is the first man up at left guard after spending the second half of the season at right guard in 2020. He missed the first part of 2020 with a torn pectoral muscle but still signed a nice contract extension this offseason.

Ike Boettger is the odd man out. The Restricted Free Agent will be second in line during Friday night’s preseason opener. For what it’s worth, he’s listed at right guard on the depth chart but on Saturday was rotating with Feliciano at left guard.

Any of the three can still end up at either starting guard position, so it will be a battle to keep monitoring.
