Breaking down Bears’ contract statuses at every position for 2024

The Chicago Bears are in the middle of one of the most important offseasons in recent memory, where they have a good amount of salary cap space ahead of free agency and the first overall pick in the NFL draft for a second straight year.

General manager Ryan Poles will have plenty of work to do with this roster with an estimated $46.87 million in available cap space, which is expected to increase with some projected cap casualties. That includes potential contract extensions along with new free agent acquisitions.

With the offseason in full swing, we decided to take a look at the current contract status at every position.

For note: Those listed that still have time left on their contracts could be released or traded during the offseason, and some could sign extensions.

This list doesn’t include players entering free agency.
