The First-Team All American lands in the Big Easy.

The New Orleans Saints have selected Oregon State offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga with the 14th overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fuaga, a 2023 first-team All-American, was rated as highly as the 2nd offensive tackle prospect by PFF.

After Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye flew off the board 1-2-3, Joe Alt and JC Latham quickly followed, and it appeared early on that the Black and Gold was going to have to move up to find their guy. However, there was a quick run-on quarterbacks again and the Saints actually entertained trade offers right before taking Fuaga at 14.

Fuaga was named the 2021 FWAA Freshman of the Year and a Freshman All-American before being a two-time First Team All-Pac 12 lineman in Corvallis. The Beavers’ offensive line averaged five yards per carry on the ground in 2023.
