Browns fans are wanting Andrew Berry to get an OL or LB in the second round

Fans also chime in with whether Cleveland should trade one of their top cornerbacks.

Each week during the regular season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team. During the offseason, we also send out questions every now and then about other big events, such as the 2024 NFL Draft.

Many teams asked their fans about hypothetical first-round moves or specific players the team might select, but with Cleveland still waiting until Day 2 for their first pick, we asked which position Browns fans wanted addressed in the second round.

Offensive line (38%), linebacker (26%), wide receiver (15%), and defensive tackle (14%) were the top positions coveted by fans, followed by “other” (5%) and defensive end (2%). When you combine values, you can say that at least 53% of fans are wanting to focus on the offensive side of the ball, while at least 42% are looking at the defensive side of the ball.

We also asked about whether the Browns should trade CB Greg Newsome. Newsome recently addressed the trade rumors, and fans are throwing their support behind him: 71% of fans do not want Berry to deal the former first-round pick.

Newsome is actually the team’s most recent first-round pick, since every year after that has seen first-rounders disappear due to the Deshaun Watson trade.
