The plurality of Ravens fans believe the team will take an offensive tackle in Round 1.

Earlier this week, Baltimore Beatdown polled its fans asking what they believe the Ravens will do in Round 1. The results are in and the plurality of fans expect to hear an offensive tackle called at No. 30 overall.

Interestingly, the second-highest vote-getter on the list was a trade out from Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft. This would break a 11-year streak of the Ravens making at least one pick on Day 1.

Shortly behind in the vote is cornerback, which a few pundits have believing they’ll target cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry if he falls to them, including ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr.

“I had been focused on a tackle for the Ravens in my previous mock drafts, but I don’t think we can discount their need at cornerback,” Kiper wrote. “Marlon Humphrey was limited to 10 games last season, and while Brandon Stephens emerged as a starter-level player, there aren’t many other players on the roster capable of playing outside corner.”

On Thursday, Ravens fans will find out if their vote was correct, and more importantly who just may be the next first-round pick for their beloved Super Bowl contending team.

According to the oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Ravens are expected to draft an offensive lineman with their first selection. Currently, the odds are -230 that the first player the Ravens will draft will be an O-lineman, compared to defensive line/edge (+300), cornerback (+550) and wide receiver (+700).
