Brady is 0-10 against the spread in primetime games

The reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the road to face the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s Week 6, so rooting guides may feel a bit premature. However, I’d say we’re rooting for Philly to lose since it’s a foregone conclusion that the Bucs are likely going to win the NFC South.

Center Ryan Jensen will play, but he’s dealing with a hip injury. Of course, that’s the last thing Brady wants: the Eagles have two above-average defensive tackles in Fletcher Cox and Javon Hargrave.

The Bucs are also without two starting cornerbacks in Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting. That’s why we’ll see Richard Sherman start.

The Eagles ruled out right tackle Lane Johnson with a “personal matter.” Tight end Dallas Goedert will miss the game on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. I’m not sure what to make of the Eagles after they came back to win against the Panthers. Their defense has impressed, but their offense is hit or miss, which is expected when a rookie quarterback is running the show.

There should be plenty of points in this one. I’ll say Tampa Bay 30, Philly 24.
