The Buffalo Bills got back one piece of their battered offensive line on Thursday, activating guard Ike Boettger from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Boettger had missed all of the practices after testing positive on his way into training camp.

Boettger had been in attendance at camp practices for the last two days, standing on the sidelines. Fellow lineman Dion Dawkins remains on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and has not been spotted at practice.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane said one of them was vaccinated and one of them was unvaccinated when he spoke with the media before the first practice on July 28th. Based on roster status and the quick return to the field, we can probably assume Boettger was vaccinated and Dawkins wasn’t. We haven’t received an update on the starting left tackle since that Beane press conference.

Besides Dawkins and Boettger, Jon Feliciano has missed time due to a shoulder injury, plus Marquell Harrell and Forrest Lamp have also been sidelined with injuries.
