Everything we know about Chiefs injuries on the eighth day of full practices.

The Kansas City Chiefs had good news as Thursday’s training camp session at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph got underway: wide receiver Tyreek Hill was back on the practice field in full pads with his helmet — as Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest reported.

Hill had missed two days of practice with tendonitis in his knee. Another player who had been missing time was also ready to get back to practice: safety Juan Thornhill, who has been dealing with a groin strain.

Tight end Nick Keizer — who has been on the team’s Active/PUP list with back spasms — also returned to practice. As the Kansas City Star’s Herbie Teope noted, Mike Remmers has also missed practice with back spasms. While he did not participate on the field, he was present at practice for the first time in several days.

Teope also reported that linebacker Ben Niemann — who has been dealing with a hamstring injury — was back on the field.

Only one Chiefs player was absent: linebacker Williie Gay Jr., who entered the NFL concussion protocol after Wednesday’s practice. Alex Okafor — who suffered a hamstring injury on Wednesday — was present but spent the practice working with trainers. So did cornerback Deandre Baker, whose absence from Wednesday’s practice was unexplained. Joining them were Remmers, tight end Evan Baylis (ankle), offensive lineman Kyle Long (knee) and linebacker Malik Herring (knee).
