Here are some bold predictions from the CSC staff for Week 13 of the regular season.
Week 12 was a rough one for the New Orleans Saints (5-6) losing on the road to the Atlanta Falcons (5-6) which also temporarily (hopefully) cost them the top spot in the division too. This week, the Saints are back home in the dome to take on the Detroit Lions (8-3)
So, let’s take a look at some of the Canal Street Chronicles staff’s predictions for this week’s matchup.
LUKE H:
- Saints don’t score a touchdown, Grupe hits 4+ field goals.
- Saints defense keeps them in this game, but the Lions offense explodes in 4Q to win by 14+.
- Amon-Ra St. Brown torches the Saints for 100+ yards and a touchdown.
GREGORY:
- Jahmyr Gibbs gashes the Saints defense, rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown
- Derek Carr gets benched in the second half after being booed heavily for two turnovers in the first
- Saints lose by double digits
KYLE:
- Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery look like the new “boom and zoom” running back duo, each having 50+ yards and a touchdown
- Carr throws 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions
- Goff turns the ball over 3 times
MATT:
- Sam Laporta has a monster game
- Saints struggle in the RZ again
- Lions win on the road
