Brandon Staley’s men enter Week 12 as surprisingly narrow underdogs to one of the best teams in the AFC despite losing two games in a row.

Well Bolts From The Blue, here we go again.

The Chargers are coming off the back of yet another gut wrenching loss in a one score game. This time they managed to lose 23-20 to the Green Bay Packers in an all too familiar fashion to fall to 4-6 on the year to fall from the precipice of a playoff spot, to firmly sit on the outside looking in. Brandon Staley’s time as the figurehead of this team is looking like it is coming to an end as he fails to change the up and down narrative of this season where they have lost two, won two, lost two, won two, lost two.

Their opponents for this week are the domineering Baltimore Ravens, John Harbaugh’s team have proved themselves as one of the best teams in the league with a tough, reductive defense and dangerous rushing game. Lamar Jackson has led his team to a passing resurgence this season and when you add this all together with a well coached team who play all three phases of the game tough then you can see why they are looking at the Lombardi trophy as a realistic target.

Week 12 Opening Odds

The DraftKings Sportsbook oddsmakers have opened their books with the Bolts as 4.5 point underdogs to the current AFC North leaders. This may come as a surprise considering the last time these two sides met back in 2021 was when the Ravens routed the Bolts 34-6 in Baltimore. The head coaches are the same today as they were back then, as are the quarterbacks, so will this end in the same manner?

What do you think, Bolts From the Blue? What bets would you place on this game?
