Kansas City hosts Green Bay on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, the Chiefs host the Green Bay Packers at 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:

Chiefs

Packers

Some notes:

  • Chiefs linebacker Anthony Hitchens returned to the practice field after missing the last two games with a triceps contusion. His full designation indicates he is trending to make his return to the lineup on Sunday.
  • Right tackle Mike Remmers (knee) did not practice after being added to the injury report last Friday and missing the team’s game against the New York Giants. Remmers had started the previous two games and was replaced by this season’s original starter, Lucas Niang, against New York. Newly-acquired tight end Dan Brown missed practice as he was traveling to Kansas City from New York.
  • Defensive lineman Chris Jones (back/wrist) was limited on Wednesday. Last week the Chiefs’ listed him with groin and wrist issues; this week, his back is also listed. Jones is playing through torn ligaments in his wrist and doubts he will be 100% this season.
  • An interesting note — defensive end Melvin Ingram was already receiving medical treatment on his groin before his first full practice with the club.
  • Where is Aaron Rodgers? Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers does not appear on the injury report since he is on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He has already been ruled out for the game.
  • Packers defensive lineman Dean Lowry (hamstring) missed the workout. Lowry is having a solid year for Green Bay when it comes to rushing the passer (8 QB pressures, 3.0 sacks). Fellow defensive lineman Kingsley Keke (concussion) also did not practice.
  • The Packers lost Robert Tonyan (knee) for the season in last week’s game, which makes tight end Josiah Deguara (finger) a player to keep an eye on. Marcedes Lewis projects to be the next tight end up.
